Guy Pincus
Research Fields: Environmental Economics, Political Economy, and Development Economics.
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at London Business. My research explores, designs and evaluates strategies to protect the environment, with a particular focus on developing countries. I draw on machine-learning and causal-inference techniques, tools from industrial organisation, and insights from the natural sciences and political economy.
I will join the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the 2026–27 academic year. In fall 2027, I will begin a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor at Tel Aviv University.
